TLKs Son Earns Grand Champion Title

Son earned the title of Grand Champion under Judge Hank Greenwood at the Land of Enchantment show that was held in Tucumcari New Mexico over the weekend. We would like to thank Hank, and all the members of the Land Of Enchantment American Pit Bull Terrier Club for putting on such a fine event.

The breeding of Musket to Kandee has produced some fine individuals including GD. CH. Son, CH. Lil Snickers, Moochie, L.G.'s Pistol, and Zeke's Dice, aka TLK's Cracker. We are very proud of their accomplishments. These dogs exhibit great breed type and an infectious abundance of drive coupled with a zest for life that anyone can appreciate. From the time they hit the ground we knew we were on to something special. I have aways taken a serious approach when it comes to breeding, and over the years we have produced our share of good dogs. This breeding in particular is an example of what happens when things turn out as expected. It gives us a great sense of accomplishment when the offspring from a particular breeding exhibit the good traits that are handed down to them from their forefathers as planned. Dogs like Tanner, Lucan, Lil Man, Miss Kim, Parkson and Hailstone all have a heavy effluence in this breeding. We are very grateful to have Musket and Kandee and we appreciate their fine ability to produce outstanding dogs.

After Son made Champion back in late 2009 we gave him a season to rest and finish maturing. Our plan was to bring him back out this spring to compete in the champion class and campaign for this title. He accomplished this goal in just 5 show weekends placing over some of the highest ranked dogs in ADBSI conformation show history. We are very proud of him, his work ethic is unmatched and his outgoing, happy, and enthusiastic attitude has made the time we spent working with him this season all the more pleasurable.

We would like to sincerely thank all of our friends that have helped us throughout the years, the ADBSI, the judges, all the clubs who work so hard to put on the shows for all of us, and most importantly our fellow exhibitors who travel to each and very show to compete and exhibit their dogs. This is a team effort and it takes all of us to make it a success.
